May 2021 has brought an expanding the boundaries of cooperation for Igor Sikorsky KPI. Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications (People’s Republic of China) has joined the cohort of our alma mater’s international partners.
The remote communication format and the pandemic did not thwart the intentions of the two powerful higher education institutions to establish collaboration and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of education and research.
The purpose of the document is to develop academic and educational cooperation based on equality and reciprocity and to promote relations and mutual understanding between both universities.

Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications is a public university focusing on the research and education in the field of information and communications and enjoys a nationwide reputation in the study of postal communications, telecommunications and information technology, especially for its research and commercialization in 3G mobile technologies, optical sciences and related digital research. It is one of the four universities of Posts and Telecommunications in China and the only one of its kind in Southwest China. In the future, the universities plan to implement cooperation through the development of curricula and double degree programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. Teachers, researchers and students will have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs. It is planned to hold joint research projects, joint symposia for the exchange of information and scientific resources.
