One of the main trends in the modern development of universities is their commercialization, which is manifested in the formation of the international market of educational and scientific services with separate items of export – export of educational services to foreign students and international transfer of knowledge and technology. In this context, the current foreign economic component of universities is developing. This type of activity becomes especially relevant for technical universities, considering their role in the formation and development of innovative economies as well as the transformation of society under the influence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the introduction of Industry 4.0, and sustainable development of separate states and regions.
