On May 22, 2019, Igor Sikorsky KPI and Nanchang University (People’s Republic of China) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
On behalf of the Igor Sikorsky KPI the Memorandum was signed by Vice-Rector for International Collaboration Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Serhiy Ivanovich Sidorenko, on behalf of the University of Nanchang, the Memorandum was signed by Deputy Party Secretary Huang EnHua.
The signed Memorandum is the first step in the development of cooperation between universities in various forms and areas, which will be implemented on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, and observance the agreements.
The Memorandum describes the general principles for further cooperation, namely: exchange of educational and methodical manuals, teacher exchange, preparation of masters, preparation of PhD-postgraduate students, conducting of joint educational and research studies, implementation of joint projects, implementation of scientific and technical research works, etc.
From the Igor Sikorsky KPI, the Chinese delegation was welcomed by Vice-rector for international collaboration Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Sergiy Sidorenko, Head of the Foreign economic activity office, coordinator for cooperation with the People’s Republic of China Andriy Shysholin, Head of the Department of the plasticity of materials and resource-saving processes of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering Vyacheslav Titov, Assistant of the Department of high-temperature materials and powder metallurgy of the the Institute of Physics and Technology Yuri Bogomol and others.
