On May 21, 2019, a delegation of the University of Ningbo, headed by its President, Prof. Shen Manhong, visited the Igor Sikorsky KPI.
The delegation also included Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Zheng Rongyue, Director of Department of Human Resources Xu Junwei, Dean of School of Business Jin Xiangrong, Vice Dean of the School of Education Yu Yong, Coordinator of the International Office Yan Jingyi.
From the Igor Sikorsky KPI, the Chinese delegation was welcomed by Vice-rector for international collaboration, Prof. Sergiy Sidorenko, Head of the Foreign economic activity office, coordinator for cooperation with the People’s Republic of China Andriy Shysholin, Head of the Department of the plasticity of materials and resource-saving processes of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering Vyacheslav Titov, Assistant of the Department of high-temperature materials and powder metallurgy of the the Institute of Physics and Technology Yuri Bogomol and others.
The main purpose of the visit of the Chinese delegation was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Igor Sikorsky KPI. After the fruitful negotiations, Memorandum was signed by Vice-Rector for international collaboration Serhiy Sidorenko on behalf of the Igor Sikorsky KPI and rector Shen Manghong on behalf of the University of Ningbo.
The document envisages establishing of bilateral international cooperation and defines its main directions: exchange of educational and methodical manuals, including electronic ones; exchange of teachers for lectures on topics agreed by the parties; joint research; exchange of results; publication of articles in scientific journals and thematic compendiums; joint implementation of projects included in major international scientific and technical programs, etc.
