New partners from the Republic of Indonesia

On February 23, 2018 Igor Sikorsky KPI hosted the delegation from the Bandung Institute of Technology (Republic of Indonesia). The meeting was aimed at expanding cooperation in the field of science and technology, discussing the creation of joint scientific and technological projects and obtaining a professional assessment and understanding of the state of innovation processes in Ukraine and Indonesia.

The Indonesian Institute was represented by the Vice-President Prof. Bambang Riyanto Trilaksona. The meeting participants were also the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ukraine represented by the Counselor Mr. Gatot Amrin Djemirin and the representative of the Embassy Mr. Harlan Sumarsono, and the Ukrainian Science and Technology Center represented by Senior Deputy Executive Director Mykola Lubiv.

Among the participants of the negotiations from Igor Sikorsky KPI there were vice-rector on international collaboration S. Sidorenko, Director of the Center for International Education V. Koval, head of the Foreign Economic Activity Office A. Shysholin and specialist of the Foreign Economic Activity Office V. Russkova.

The negotiators discussed some possible areas of cooperation both in the scientific and research fields. The subject of consideration was the signing of a detailed framework agreement on cooperation, the opportunity of establishment a joint Ukrainian-Indonesian Center on the basis of our university, the prospect of joint participation in the Erasmus + and Horizon 2020 programs, as well as the participation of Igor Sikorsky KPI at a workshop in Bandung.

The parties agreed to conduct further cooperation through the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ukraine.
