December 3, 2019, the Igor Sikorsky KPI welcomed a delegation of Dalian Polytechnic University (People’s Republic of China) headed by Prof. Wang Guohong, Dean of Scientific Research Office. The delegation also included Hao Hai – Director of the School of International Education, Prof. Xu Yusen – Director of the Sino-Australian Joint Research Center for Business and Economic Management, and Prof. Guo Shuhong – Vice Dean of the Joint Institute of Dalian Technical University and Belarussian State University.
The guests are traditionally acquainted with the infrastructure of our university, visited the State Polytechnic Museum of Ukraine at the Igor Sikorsky KPI and saw the exposition of the Aviation and Space Department of the Museum.
After that, a delegation of Dalian Polytechnic University met with representatives of the Igor Sikorsky KPI. The meeting was attended by our Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Sergiy Sidorenko, Head of Foreign Economic Activity Office, Coordinator of Cooperation programs with China partners at International Collaboration Department Andriy Shysholin, Director of the Chinese-Ukrainian Center Igor Litvinov, Deputy Dean for International Relations of the Faculty of Management and Marketing Elena Pidlisna and Deputy Director for International Relations of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering Olexander Shevchenko.
The participants of the meeting were presented of their educational institutions. After the presentations, the negotiators moved on to lively discussions and exchange of suggestions on cooperation opportunities. In particular, issues related to the exchange of teachers, graduate and postgraduate students were discussed, as well as issues related to the joint research of Dalian Polytechnic University and Igor Sikorsky KPI.
In general, the meeting held in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The parties outlined the ways of future cooperation, and in the end exchanged gifts and captured the event with a joint photo.
