On December 2, 2020, Igor Sikorsky KPI was visited by Dr. Leone Peter Correa Andrade – President of the Manufacturing and Technology Integrated Campus SENAI CIMATEC – a leading center of education, technology, and innovation in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
Mr. Andrade met with the university management, during the meeting they discussed cooperation in science and innovation, as well as the introduction of joint projects on the market.
Igor Sikorsky KPI was represented by Vice-Rector for Research Vitaliy Pasichnyk, Vice-Rector for International Relations Sergiy Sydorenko, Project Manager of the “Ukrainian Network of Startup Schools Sikorsky Challenge” Inna Malyukova, Assistant Rector Bohdan Duda, Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Office Andriy Shysholin.
The Brazilian side is interested in ensuring the transmission of information from oil wells by digital means, so the scientists of Igor Sikorsky KPI were invited to join in the issue.
The result of the negotiations was the decision to hold the first virtual workshop of experts from both sides to better understand how we can help Brazilian colleagues in this and other projects.
