On September 26, 2019 Igor Sikorsky welcomed the delegation of Xian Aeronautical University. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the launch of a double diploma program in the field of aircraft manufacturing.
Among the representatives of Xian Aeronautical University at the meeting there were a representative of the university responsible for cooperation with the KPI Mr. Zhang Lin and another representative of the University responsible for correspondence with foreign partners Ms. Shi Wenting.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was represented by Vice-rector for International Relations S. Sidorenko, deputy Vice-rector for International Relations K. Yudkova, Head of Foreign Economic Activity Office A. Shysholin, Director of the Institute of Aerospace Technologies I. Korobko, specialist of Foreign Economic Activity Office V. Russkova.
The parties discussed the issue of launching a double diploma program in the field of aircraft production and agreed on the next steps in the preparation of a memorandum of understanding between universities and the main agreement on the double diploma program. A plan of further cooperation was successfully defined.
Further cooperation with the Chinese partners will be aimed at preparing a memorandum of understanding, a double diploma program agreement, and will be conducted via e-mail.
