Brotherly support from Chinese partners

“Friend in need is a friend indeed” – this folk wisdom has become very relevant to this a difficult time for all of us when the coronavirus pandemic spread all across the world.

Last year, the Igor Sikorsky KPI and the Northwestern Polytechnical University of the People’s Republic of China started cooperation, and in January 2020 they already signed The Memorandum of Understanding, outlining the main directions of our joint activity in the educational and scientific spheres. We are looking especially towards cooperation in the field of aerospace technology, which is represented by the Institute of Aerospace Technologies (IAT) of the Igor Sikorsky KPI.

A truly friendly, warm relationship has developed between our universities. The best and most telling example of this would be the donation by the Northwest Technical University 500 facial protective masks for students and faculty of IAT.

We sincerely thank our Chinese counterparts, we greatly appreciate this help – timely and helpful. We hope and trust that your gift will help keep maintain good health for a lot of us.

During this special period, we wish all the students, faculty, personnel, and leadership of Northwestern Technical University and their families good health, successful work, and good luck in everything.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
